NextStep (the "App") is a task management and productivity application built and maintained by Prashant Chandel ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, stored, used, and protected when you use our mobile application.

NextStep is designed with a privacy-first approach.

• Local Storage Only: We do not host, store, or transmit your tasks, settings, categories, or database information on remote servers. All your application data is stored directly on your physical device.
• No Selling of Data: Since we do not collect or upload your database records, we never have access to your data, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.

2. Information We Collect and Process

Because the App operates almost entirely on-device, the collection of data is limited to the following categories:

A. Local User Content (On-Device Only)

The primary function of the App is to store and organize task details. This data includes:

• Task titles, descriptions, due dates, and completion status.
• Subtasks, priority classifications, and tags.
• Categories and folders created for organization.

All this information is processed locally via an SQLite database stored in the App's private local directory.

B. Device Preferences (On-Device Only)

To personalize your experience, the App stores:

• Theme settings (Light, Dark, or System Sync).
